Clothing

Clothing (also known as clothes, apparel and attire) is a collective term for items worn on the body. Clothing can be made of textiles, animal skin, or other thin sheets of materials put together.

Clothing Types

-Business attire – worn for work purposes.
-Casual wear – worn as standard clothing.
-Formal wear – worn for events such as weddings.
-Lingerie – undergarments are worn for support and/or decoration.
-Sportswear – worn for athletic activities like running.

APPAREL SHOP means retail stores where clothing is sold, such as department stores, shoe stores, dress, hosiery, and millinery shops.

Clothing Store

A clothes shop or clothes store is any shop that sells items of ready-made clothing. A small shop that sells expensive or designer clothing may be called a boutique. A shop that sells clothes for a narrowly-restricted market such as school uniforms or outdoor sports may be called an outfitter.
